PARIS -- Stellantis has promoted Antonella Bruno to head its Peugeot brand in Europe from her current role leading Jeep's business in the region.
Jeep's new Europe boss is Eric Laforge, who is currently in charge of Stellantis’ light-commercial vehicle unit for the region.
Stellantis's Europe region includes Eurasia and Balkan-area countries.
Bruno, an Italian who has an economics degree, started her career at Ford in Italy in 2000, where her roles included brand manager, pricing specialist, and communications and media director.
Bruno moved to Fiat in 2007 and was promoted to Lancia boss in 2013. She has led Jeep's European business since 2020.
Jeep's new Europe boss, Laforge, began his career with Alfa Romeo in 1990.
After several years of commercial experience in France and Italy, he was CEO of FCA Switzerland starting in 2011, then CEO of FCA Germany from 2013 and director of FCA in central Europe from 2019.
Laforge became head of Fiat Professional in 2020 and was appointed head of Stellantis’ Enlarged Europe region in 2021.
He is a graduate of ESG Finance (ESGF) in Paris.
Bruno, who was named a 2015 Rising Star by Automotive News Europe, will have a much bigger role within Stellantis at Peugeot, which last year was Europe's No. 5 brand by vehicle sales.
